FIELD: chemistry, power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear industry and can be applied in factories producing fuel pellets from dioxide and uranium oxide for nuclear fuel elements (FE). Essence of the invention on the following: on palletising uranium oxide plasticiser containing 97-99% of N,N1-bisstearylethylenediamine and 1-3% of N-stearylethylenediamine in number of 0.1-0.5% from weight of uranium oxide and without metals is used a dry binding agent.

EFFECT: increased yield of usable uranium dioxide pellets, enhance of mechanical reliability, extension of operational life of furnace and pressing tool.
