SUBSTANCE: it is implemented smelting in steel-making vessel of metal mixture, it is defined in melt content of manganese, chrome, it is introduced into melt in ladle simultaneously manganese and silicon, it is received profiled blank, bank is heated, rolled with receiving of rod, rod is cooled in water cooling line, lined by coil-former on roller conveyer and cooled on air, herewith after introduction into melt into ladle of manganese and silicon, it is implemented out-furnace treatment from calculation of steel receiving, consisting, wt %: 0.05-0.12 of carbon, not more 0.040 of sulfur, not more than 0.10 chrome and 0.40-0.65 manganese, after out-furnace treatment it is defined content of carbon, chrome, manganese and sulfur in steel by ladle sample, profiled blank is rolled up to required dimensions and it is specified value of contraction ratio by following correlation: ψ=-1.48×C-0.54×Cr+0.28×Twcl-0.001×Mn/S-170.2, where - ψ - contraction ratio, %; C, Cr Mn, S - content of carbon, chrome, manganese, sulphur in metals sample, wt %;Twcl - rod temperature after water cooling line, °C; Mn/S - correlation of manganese to sulphur; 1.48, 0.54, 0.28, 0.001, 170.2 - coefficients, received experimentally, calculated after treatment of experimental data by definition of effect of each parametre for contraction ratio.

EFFECT: receiving of required strength and paste forming properties of rod.
