METHOD OF WAVE EFFECT ON HYDROCARBON DEPOSIT Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B43/16

Abstract RU 2361070 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to development of hydrocarbon deposits, particularly, to methods of wave effect of production reservoirs for intensification of extraction and for growth of final yield of sections of deposits with hard extracted or blocked reserves of hydrocarbons. The invention is intended to intensify extraction of hydrocarbons by means of wave effect on a hydrocarbon deposit of a complicated configuration to increase final yield of reservoirs due to change of rheological properties of fluid, to improvement of skin-factor and filtration characteristics of a collector. The essence of the invention is as follows: according to the method sources of wave oscillations are assembled on surface in vertical and/or inclined, and/or horizontal, and/or branched wells. Lengthwise and cross waves are generated simultaneously with the sources of wave oscillations. These waves affect medium with hydrocarbon deposits. According to the invention wave effect upon medium with hydrocarbon deposits is performed by interferential wave fields with fronts of specified configuration generated by means of excitation of lengthwise and cross waves in points of the deposit of hydrocarbon; also this effect is carried out with time delays proportional to a distance from the point of waves excitation to each specified point of the deposit. Notably, wave effect is focused to a region of deposit with nonmoving and low mobile reserves of hydrocarbons and here synchronous multi-pointed wave effect is realised, which facilitates static effect of power accumulation of wave pulses determined from analytical expression.

EFFECT: intensification of extraction of hydrocarbons by means of wave effect on hydrocarbon deposit of complicated configuration to increase final yield of reservoirs due to change of rheological properties of fluid, to improvement of skin-factor and filtration characteristics of collector.
