FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: morphological assessment of angular convolution of human cerebral hemispheres is ensured through macroscopical evaluation. The angle between sulcus lateralis and sulcus temporalis superior is measured within angular convolution. The area of convolution external surface and its separate parts: geniculum, anterior and posterior pedicles, are calculated. It is followed with micromorphometry of the 3d cortical layer of said convolution on the basis of histotopographic section coloured with hematoxylin eosin, toluidine blue "по Нислю".
EFFECT: method allows for complete morphological description of angular convolution as an anatomic formation of lateral surface of human cerebral hemispheres.
