FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for electrochemical treatment of water and water solutions and can be used for control of acid-base, redox properties and catalitical activity of the water and water solutions, for purification and decontaminating of the water and other liquid media as well as for obtaining of washing, disinfection, sterilising and medical solutions. The device for electrochemical treatment of the liquids contains coaxial rod and cylindrical electrodes, arranged in dielectrical bushes and collector heads having the bore for inlet and outlet of the liquid. The inner surface of the bores is provided with spiral grooves and protrusions with pitch equal to (0.1-1.0)d, whereat d is inner diametre correspondingly of the bush or head. The dielectrical bush and dielectrical collector heads are installed with providing of the rotation to 360° relative to each other.
EFFECT: enhancing of the device efficiency and decreasing of current density.
