FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: centre of gravity of an athlete is determined first. Height jumped by the athlete is then determined from displacement of the athlete's centre of gravity. The device for determining centre of gravity of an athlete has a hard platform with two load sensors, centre support, belt, low frequency and high frequency acoustic generators, which are connected to the load sensors, a marker for the athlete's centre of gravity, rigidly attached to the belt; the device for measuring height jumped by the athlete comprises a support, belt, tied to the athlete's waist, optical reflector, piston joined to guides by fasteners, which are mechanically connected to a suspender on the athlete's belt, laser displacement controller, consisting of a laser source and a photodetector, which is put inside the top part of a pipe-shaped support and connected by a cable to a microcomputer with a display unit, reflector, mounted to the top part of the piston, marker of the athlete's centre of gravity, rigidly attached to the athlete's belt and mechanically joined by fasteners and guides to the piston, a mat for marking the athlete's foot placement; also the device for measuring the height jumped by an athlete comprises a support, belt tied on the athlete's waist, piston, at the terminals of which are attached half-elements of a ferroprobe gradiometre, a support made from nonmagnetic material, a holder on the piston, a magnetic marker of the athlete's centre of gravity, located on the belt, unit for processing gradiometre signals, which is connected by a cable to the microcomputer with a display unit.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of measuring height jumped while eliminating effect of individual capabilities of athletes, optimisation of the measuring process as a whole due to compilation and processing statistical data of the training cycle.
