FIELD: production line engineering.
SUBSTANCE: inclined conveyor includes belt circuited in vertical plane. Flexible elements (3) out of steel wire cables are positioned between carrying (1) and idle runs of the belt. Flexible element ends (4, 5) are fixated in conveyor supports (6, 7) by levers (10, 11) rotating in horizontal plane against joints (8, 9). In initial state levers are tilted opposite to the carrying run course during normal conveyor operation and form α angles of 45-55 degrees with the longitudinal conveyor axis (13). Two outhanging claws (14, 15) are fixated in the middle part of each flexible element and oriented at β angle equal to inclination angle of the carrying belt run against horizon.
EFFECT: carrying belt capture for inclined conveyor with suspended belt after the belt rupture caused by increased braking effort.
