FIELD: transport, package.

SUBSTANCE: inclined belt conveyor comprises belt endless in vertical plane. Flexible elements representing steel wire cables 4 are arranged between backing run 1 and idle run with minimum clearance with respect to said backing run. Every end of said flexible element is secured to two-roller carriage 7 that can move along tubular guide mounted on conveyor frame. In vertical plane, guides form with belt plane acute angle α, and in horizontal plane said guides converge at acute angle φ. Apices of said angles are directed towards conveyor tail part. Guides are provided with thrusts 16, 17 arranged on their ends to interact with carriage rollers 18. Suspensions can envelope aforesaid tubular guides with minimum clearance on both sides. In initial position, lower part of flexible element is located on the line corresponding to belt slag between roller supports and can be locked in said position with the help of one of said thrusts on the side of conveyor head part.

EFFECT: increased braking force, reduced belt braking distance in breakage, higher reliability of entrapping device.
