FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: conveyor contains looped belt forming load-carrying and nonworking branches. Between load-carrying and nonworking branches of belt flexible elements are fitted with minimal gap relative to load-carrying branch of the belt. These flexible elements are are equally spaced along conveyer length. Ends of each flexible element are fixed on two sliders using deadeyes. The deadeyes are fitted between sliders using articulated joints. The sliders are installed with possibility to be shifted along guides mounted on conveyor frame by means of pillars. Each of the guides is formed by two T-beams. The guides with belt plane form sharp angle the vertex of which is oriented towards conveyor tail. The guides are equipped with thrusts on their ends with possibility of their interaction with the slides. Initially, the lower part of flexible element is located on the line corresponding to belt deflection between roll supports of the belt.

EFFECT: belt load-carrying branch catching is provided after its break under increased braking force, length of brake path, belt and catching device loading, catching time are decreased, reliability of catching device operation is increased.
