FIELD: treatment facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns methods of removing non-ferrous and heavy metals from sewage and can be applied in electronic and chemical industry, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and heavy engineering for both general sewage treatment and local treatment. Orthophosphate ion is added to sewage water with pH 9.0-10.0 in the form of soluble sodium orthophosphate salt at the mass ratio of metal recovered to orthophosphate ion added 1:(0.5-1.0). Then solution of organic flocculation agent granulated sulfate polyacrylamide "ПАА-ГС"is added to the solution at mass ratio of metal recovered to flocculation agent 1:(0.005-0.0075) in main substance equivalent, with further electric floatation processing at current density of 7.5-8.5 mA/cm2.
EFFECT: increased process speed without deterioration to high rate of removing non-ferrous and heavy metals from sewage, enhanced performance, reduced process duration and specific power consumption.
