FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: methods for electroflotation extraction of copper hydroxide from wastewater containing a copper-ammonia complex. Invention can be used in production of electronic printed circuit boards. The method includes introducing a cationic type flocculating additive at a mass ratio of [NH3+]:[Cu2+]:[flocculating additive] equal to 1:[0.2-1]:[0.005-0.01]. The flocculating additive contains didecyldimethylammonium chloride, ethanol and a cationic flocculant based on highly polymerized polyacrylamide at mass ratio to each other equal to 1:[0.5]:[0.25]. Electroflotation is carried out at a current density of 0.4 A/l, pH=9-11 for 15 minutes.
EFFECT: increased degree of extraction of copper hydroxide from wastewater and the rate of electroflotation purification process while expanding the range of initial concentrations of ammonia (NH3+) and copper (Сu2+).
