FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cyclic treatment of cabbage by a sinusoidal electromagnetic field using a low frequency generator in places of its constant storage continuously for the whole storage period. The treatment is carried out in successive continuous cycles, each of which involves two stages, on the first one the treatment is carried out with a frequency in the range of 10.0-15.0 Hz within not more than 20 minutes, and on the second stage the treatment is carried out with a frequency in the range of 15.1-20.0 Hz within not more than 25 minutes. The low frequency generator with the range of frequencies equalled 1×10-5÷30 Hz is used. The output capacity of the low frequency generator should be less than 140 mW. Inductance coil with active resistance in the range of 2.0-8.0 Ohm and inductance equalled 2.0-5.0 mHz is used as a radiator. Inductance coil can have conical, cylindrical or toric shape, it also has a dielectric coreless frame and placed in the distance from the treated products.
EFFECT: high safety of cabbage properties during the whole storage period due to improved storability.
