FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: while in spinal reclination, vertebral bodies are resected in compliance with pathological destruction. A post-resection defect is measured. A cylindrical carbon-carbonic implant with a full-height and ½-diametre deep pocket is matched. Outside of an operative wound, the pocket is compacted with autogenous bone. The combined implant is closely embedded in the post-resection defect and blocked therein after spinal reclination.
EFFECT: stable fixation of spinal segment.
