FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgic industry and is to be implemented for preparation of charge mixture, injection of finely dispersed ores and coal into the melting reactor in the course of direct reduction of oxide-containing ores. The installation is equipped with chambers for drying original raw material with the melting reactor exhaust gas. Ore and coal having been dried are separately transported via two pneumatic duct lines. At each line outlet a cyclone is installed with a collection bin and a facility for delivery of original raw material into the plasma melting reactor. The exhaust gas duct between the heat exchanger and the melting reactor is fabricated of individual mutually perpendicular pipe sections; within a finite section each of them is designed to have a flange-mounted sleeve. The number of cyclones with collection bins and facilities for delivery of original raw material is equal to that of indirect action plasmatrons mounted inside the reactor.
EFFECT: invention enables improvement of technological and economic efficiency of the raw material preparation and delivery into the melting reactor combined with considerable reduction of dust emission into the environment.
