FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machine building of processing industry, and may be used for grinding of non-ferrous metals and plastics wastes. Method includes grinding of material by rotary tool with teeth. Cutting edge of tool is shifted parallel to itself, besides, forced oscillations are imparted to it relative to axis of tool rotation in radial direction with value of amplitude in the range where (ωo - frequency of grinding tool cutting edge oscillations, rad/s, A - amplitude of cutting edge oscillations, m, ω - frequency of grinding tool rotation, rad/s, d - diametre of grinding tool, m, α - back angle of cutting edge, rad, S - feed of tool cutting edge deep down ground material, m/s, Z - number of grinding tool teeth. Besides, ratio of rotation frequency and oscillations frequency is provided as not equal to integer number.
EFFECT: obtainment of possibility to control size and shape of particles.
