FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of automatic control of glass-melting processes. Prior to charge loading into glass-melting furnace, charge grade is identified by deviations of weight composition of refractory and fusible components, as well as temperature field of glass melt along width of doghouse. Charge of the 1st grade (deviations of weight composition of the main components ±0…0.6%) is loaded evenly along furnace width. Charge of the 2nd grade (deviations of weight composition of the main components ±0.61…0.8%) is loaded into zones of doghouse with average temperature. Charge of the 3rd grade (deviations of weight composition ±0.81…1%) at higher content of refractory components in loaded in zone of doghouse with maximum temperature of glass melt, and at higher content of fusible components - in zones of doghouse with minimum temperature of glass melt.
EFFECT: higher thermal uniformity of glass melt.
