FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: there are disclosed system and method of scanning induction heating of a product. The product advances through an inductor for induction thermal processing of product components with electric power of variable frequency and off-duty ratio to control electric power as frequency varies.
EFFECT: variability of working frequency of the inverter in controlling output power of the inverter by pulse width modulation as it is required to perform inductive heat processing of a product at various penetration distances in induction scanning of a product.
