FIELD: rescue operations.

SUBSTANCE: descent device is attached to life vest and is made in the form of joint clasp with blocking element and adjustment screws, with lock fixating the clasp. Cable is mounted on a spool attached in top part of evacuation window, with cable stock equal to the spool mounting height. Blocking element is made in the form of braking pad attached to a basement connected to adjustment screws.

EFFECT: simplified device structure, extended application range for this type of devices.
