FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: filter is intended for purification of environmental water by filtration from undissolved suspended colloid and dissolved organic and mineral matters. The cartridge filter contains cylindrical body with upper cover, cylindrical cartridge mounted in axial alignment inside the body and designed as coaxial inner and outer netted shells, upper plug with central opening and lower plug with face ends of both shells connected with plugs, filtering material, fitting pipes for water supply and withdrawal. The filter additionally contains one or more cylindrical cartridges designed similarly to the first one and positioned directly one above another; the body is provided with lower cover with central opening connected with fitting pipe for water withdrawal. The lower plug of every cartridge is dead-end and provided with perforated fitting pipe fastened to it and mounted in axial alignment to the body.

EFFECT: enhancing of the water purification quality and increase of the filter operational life due to fuller use of the dirt capability of the cartridge filter material.
