FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: blank of cartridge is fabricated. Further, a shank end out of cartridge bottom metal is preliminary formed. An extension of blade is fabricated out of a wall of the cartridge by preliminary forming. The end of the extension part of the blade is welded. The blade is finally punched to a required size.
EFFECT: upgraded quality and reliability of ready item without welding seams in structure of blade.
