Method includes processing of object (11) by fluorescent substance, object radiation and registration of radiation from radiated object with the help of unit (13, 54) for image registration. Image of object (11), produced with the help of unit (13, 54) for image registration, is digitised, and image colour content is automatically analysed in order to detect cracks in object (11).

EFFECT: provision of possibility to automate colour flaw detection and improved level of crack detectability in object.
