SUBSTANCE: present invention provides a cable frame and a method for installing a superconducting cable for achieving spiral deformation of the superconducting cable when the temperature rise of the superconducting cable is uniform in the longitudinal direction of the superconducting cable. When the temperature is raised, the temperature of the superconducting cable rises everywhere over the entire length of the superconducting cable. The superconducting cable has a linear shape when cooled, and deforms into a spiral shape when the temperature is raised. The twist directions of the outermost layer and the layer next to the outermost layer in the cable frame formed from the twisted wire structure are set to be the same to stabilize the spiral deformation of the superconducting cable including the cable frame when the temperature is raised.
EFFECT: invention makes the functioning of a superconducting cable more effective.
