SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for controlling transmission speed of user data, transmitted through an uplink using a mobile station. For this purpose, a wireless network controller notifies a mobile station on the initial maximum limit speed of transmitting user data, when the service cell of the mobile station should be changed. The mobile station automatically increases the transmission speed of user data to the initial maximum limit transmission speed, notified by the wireless network controller, when the service cell changes. The mobile station automatically increases transmission speed of user data to the maximum limit transmission speed in the changed service cell of the mobile station after the service cell has been changed.
