FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: base radio station informs a mobile station of maximum allowable transmission rate of user data of ascending communication line by using a common transmission rate control channel. Mobile station increases transmission rate of user data of ascending communication line up to maximum allowable transmission rate with predetermined step. When predetermined condition is satisfied, mobile station requests base radio station for transmitting the pointed out transmission rate control channel. Mobile station determines transmission rate of user data of ascending communication line on the basis of the pointed out transmission rate control channel transmitted by base radio station.

EFFECT: possible setting of user data transmission rate of ascending communication line as high rate for the channel which requires high-rate response.
