ANALYSIS OF PERIPHERAL OCULAR REFRACTION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B3/00

Abstract RU 2367333 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and aims at analysis of peripheral ocular refraction. Autorefractometry is carried out in cycloplegia. The refraction is analysed if gaze direction is deviated from the point of fixation in a horizontal plane. Temporal and nasal deviation from the meridian optical axis wherein refraction is analysed is 10°.

EFFECT: method allows more precise, objective controlled analysis of peripheral refraction in a certain retina region.
