FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clinical medicine and can be used for prediction of injury outcome in patients with burnings. Examination and evaluation of system and organ functions are performed in points by SOFA scale, central nervous system is evaluated on the basis of Glasgo coma scale; excretory system is evaluated by creatinine level in blood plasma and volume of urine passage; state of liver is evaluated by level of total blood plasma bilirubin; function of cardio-vascular system is evaluated by tachycardia, value of arterial pressure and dopamine dose; function of respiratory system in case of artificial lung ventilation is evaluated by value of inspiratory fraction of oxygen FiO2, necessary for supporting normal saturation of blood with oxygen; dysfunction of coagulation system is evaluated by number of thrombocytes; also evaluated is state of gastro-intestinal tract while performing esophagogastroduodenoscopic examinations. Prognosis of burning injury outcome is determined by summing up obtained points, and if organ and system dysfunction is evaluated as 1-2 points and total point evaluation of poly-organ disorder syndrome does not exceed 9 points, patient's state is evaluated as grave with favourable prognosis, if there is insufficiency of two or three systems or organs, evaluated as 3-4 points, with total point value of poly-organ dysfunction/insufficiency syndrome being 10 points and higher, patient's state is evaluated as extremely grave with unfavourable prognosis.
EFFECT: method ensures accuracy and reliability of prognosis, taking medical measures in proper time.
