METHOD FOR ASSESSING SEVERITY OF MULTIPLE ORGAN DYSFUNCTION AND PREDICTION OF LETHAL OUTCOME IN REANIMATION INFANT PATIENT Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B5/00 G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2604393 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used for assessing severity of multiple organ dysfunction and prediction of lethal outcome in reanimation infant patient. Assessment of clinical and laboratory values, values of systemic inflammatory response and presence of infection are made. Each indicator is assigned with points. Obtained points are summed. If estimation is from 0 to 24 points, stable patient's state and absence of multiple organ dysfunction are determined. If estimation is from 25 to 32 points, unstable patient's state and presence of multiple organ dysfunction are determined. If estimation is from 33 to 40 points, terminal patient's state and presence of heavy multiple organ dysfunction are determined. If estimation is more than 40 points, uncurable patient's state and presence of irreversible multiple organ dysfunction are determined. Probability of lethal outcome (P) is calculated by formula. Depending on obtained result patient is related to group with low - less than 10 %, increased - from 10 to 35 %, high - from 40 to 77 %, and extremely high - more than 79 % probability of lethal outcome.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows objectifying severity of infant patient's reanimation state and predict probability of lethal outcome by assessing complex of most significant parameters.
