FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and facility for maintenance of air heaters and hot-air pipelines, connecting air heaters to tuyere or tuyeres for insufflation of hot air into tank for direct melting for receiving of molten metal, in hot condition during stop of tank. Device includes air channel in hot-air pipeline, which provides let out from hot-air pipeline streams of hot air, produced in air heaters during the process.
EFFECT: invention provides keeping the temperature of air heaters and hot-air pipeline in temperature intervals, which minimise damage of air heaters and hot-air pipelines.
