FIELD: power engineering, chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of nuclear power engineering, in particular to minute fuel elements of nuclear element. Method for manufacturing of minute fuel elements of nuclear reactor consists in serial deposition of layers from the following materials onto fuel microsphere in boiling layer - low-density pyrocarbon, high-density isotropic pyrocarbon, silicon carbide and high-density isotropic pyrocarbon. The latter is external coat. Carbide coat is applied by pyrolysis of methyl trichlorosilane in mixture with hydrogen at temperature of 1650±25°C. When carbide coat is formed, at first layer of carbide is applied with thickness of 0.1-0.01 from required thickness of carbide coat. Then temperature is reduced down to 600-1200°C. Microspheres are processed with mixture of Cl2-H2-Ar. Then pyrolysis is renewed. Thickness of carbide coat is brought to required thickness. Temperature is reduced down to 600-1200°C, and microspheres are processed with mixture of Cl2-H2-Ar.
EFFECT: higher resource of nuclear reactor operation.
