FIELD: power engineering, chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of nuclear power engineering, in particular to minute fuel elements of nuclear reactor. Minute fuel element of nuclear reactor comprises fuel microsphere from fission material and multilayer protective coat. Protective coat consists of the following layers serially applied on microsphere - low-density pyrocarbon, high-density isotropic pyrocarbon, silicon carbide and external layer of high-density isotropic pyrocarbon. Between layer of high-density isotropic pyrocarbon and layer of silicon carbide there is a layer of titanium nitride with composition TiN.
EFFECT: higher resource of nuclear reactor operation.
