AGGRESSIVE APPROACH TO HYPEROPIA Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61F9/08

Abstract RU 2369370 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: laser keratomilensis is performed. Resection of corneal flap 10.00- 10.5 mm in diametre is performed using femtosecond laser. Excimer ablation is carried out with a diametre of 6.5 to 7.0 mm (optical zone), 2.2 to 2.6 mm (transition zone) with total diametre of ablation making 8.7 to 9.5 mm. In case of 16 to 25-year-old patients photoablation is performed according to refraction data under cyclopegia. 26-40-year old patients and older ones have additional 0.5-2.0 dioptres to the refraction data under cyclopedia.

EFFECT: obtaining major diametres of optical and transition zones as well as refractive stability.
