FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Near uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) is determined at distance of 33 cm on a Forbis device. Refractometry is carried out in cycloplegia, aberrometry is performed on a Shwind Peramis device. Quality of vision is assessed using the Strehl coefficient on a Shwind Peramis device and a visocontrastometry is performed on a Shwind Peramis device. Indications for correction of hypermetropia by Femtolasic method are: near visual acuity less than 0.6, hypermetropic refraction in conditions of cycloplegia more than 3.0 dioptres, total number of eye aberrations with a pupil diameter of 3 mm is more than 1.2 dioptres, the Strehl coefficient of the eye with a pupil diameter of 3 mm is less than 0.1, spatial contrast sensitivity: in the range of low frequencies 1 cycle/deg.

EFFECT: method enables determining correction of refractive disorders, restoring visual acuity and reducing asthenopic complaints, thereby improving quality of life in young patients and reducing a risk of strabismus, amblyopia and psychoemotional stress.
