FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: method includes calculating the refractive effect of hypermetropia correction by FemtoLASIK method on excimer laser "Microscan Visum". Refractive effect is predicted based on regression analysis by formula y = −0.04x1 + 0.006x2 − 0.108x3, taking into account the difference between the achieved and initial spheroequivalents of refraction y, depth of ablation x1, thickness of the residual stromal bed in the ablation zone x2, length of the anterior-posterior axis of eye x3.
EFFECT: method enables higher predictability of the refractive effect and achieving maximum clinical and functional results.
