FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cleaning device comprises chamber with cover to house object to be cleaned and cleaning fluid medium feed device. The chamber accommodates an actuated piston and features sections with specific geometry that allow the contact with fluid medium outer tank in case the piston stays inside the chamber so that to ensure an abrupt spasmodic pressure increase. Proposed device comprises also outlet valve, open in case the piston increases the chamber volume to reduce pressure inside the chamber. Cleaning technique comprises the following repeated stages, i.e. reducing chamber volume and maintaining invariable pressure inside the chamber, increasing chamber volume with valve closed. Then inside pressure of chamber is abruptly varied by communicating the chamber with external fluid medium when piston reaches aforesaid section with specific geometry. Proposed device is used for cleaning contact lens. Note here that fluid medium represents a diluted cleaning liquid.
EFFECT: higher quality of cleaning, simple procedure and higher efficiency.
