SUBSTANCE: inventions are related to measurement engineering and may be used for creation of Coriolis flow metres. Method and device make it possible to periodically calculate relative phase of left internal vector for oscillating pipeline. In normal mode of operation both excitation devices are used in tandem to excite the main mode of pipeline oscillations. Periodically, first one, then the other of two devices is disconnected, which makes it possible to identify relative phase of left internal vector for oscillating pipeline.

EFFECT: high accuracy of flow rate measurements due to shift calibration under zero flow.
