FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: diagnostics system is divided into diagnostics with respect to that of particles with sizes smaller than oil filter filtration capacity (10 to 15 mcm), that is, that can be filtered out, and with sizes greater than oil filter filtration capacity, that is those that can not be filtered out. In the first case, filtered out particles allow to determine damages of friction surfaces using spectral ferrographic and/or scintillation analysis. In the second case, particles are classified with respect to their shape and size, steel (alloy) material grade is determined using X-ray spectrometres with the help of special software. Control elements are represented by shavings indicators mounted in lines pumping out oil from the supports. Note here that the signal from control elements comes into multi-channel flight parametre recording system and is sent to digital printer. Records are decoded after every aircraft return to base. Results of decoding allow carrying out unscheduled inspection of all control elements. Given great amount and large sizes of particles at which control elements fail, indicator filter operates arranged at the oil system outlet to send signal to crew cab.
EFFECT: higher flight safety, easier servicing.
