FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: use: detection and registration of wear metal particles in the oil flow of the working GTE. To detect metal wear particles in the oil flow of a working gas turbine engine, the total oil flow is divided into N independent flows, total cross-sectional area of which is equal to the cross-sectional area of the total input flow; monitoring of each independent flow is performed by an individual single-turn eddy-current sensing element of the cluster sensor, thereby the sensitivity of the eddy-current sensing elements and the ability to detect single metal particles in one cross section of the oil flow is increased; time and possible number from one to N simultaneously passed metal particles through the controlled section of the oil flow is fixed, and according to the measurement results, the technical condition of the engine is changed immediately during its operation, which makes it possible to detect in a timely manner the emergent defects of rubbing surfaces and take measures to prevent an emergency situation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to detect in a timely manner emergent defects of rubbing surfaces and to take measures to prevent an emergency situation.
