FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology and orthopaedics and can be used in patients with osteochondrosis, spinal injury and tumour, spondylarthrosis, spondylosis, spondylitis and other spondylogenic diseases of lumbar spine. To estimate functional status of lumbar spine, lumbar curvimetry is used in patients with spondylogenic diseases, and the indices are determined at maximum body flexion. In patients of various age groups: one - under 30 years and the other - after 30 years, are additionally examined to determine the indices of biological activity (BA) of lumbar muscles with using electromyography. Besides X-ray imaging of lateral projection of lumbar spine is carried out both at maximum spinal extension and at maximum flexion. Then the obtained data in any lumbar locomotor segment are used to calculate a mobility coefficient of spinal segment (MCSS) under h formula
EFFECT: method allows improving diagnostic accuracy of spondylogenic diseases of lumbar spine, performing monitoring thereof and estimating the related clinical effectiveness.
