FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely surgery. Oesophagus and trachea are mobilised en bloc. Oesophagus is completely transected and closed above and below a fistula. Oesophagus is closed within fistula to form a part of oesophagus in the form of a sac of smaller base along posterior wall of oesophagus. The sac is free connected with tracheal lumen through fistula. A proximal stump of oesophagus is delivered as esophagostoma on a neck.
EFFECT: method allows for reliable formation of posterior wall of trachea, providing prevention of suturing malfunction of trachea, cicatricial stricture of trachea, mediastinitis owing to preservation of blood supply of cicatricial changed tissues, recurrent fistula, simplifies operation, reduces operational injuries by performing of all operation stages out of cicatricial inflammatory affection.
