FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to thermal treatment of blanks from tool die steels, used at manufacturing of press fixtures, operating at high temperatures. Steel blank is subject to process of threefold phase recrystallisation by means of heating at a rate 30-70°C/h higher the point Ac3 for 30-80°C, isolation at particular temperature, then blank is cooled at a rate not more than 40°C/h up to temperature lower than point Ar1 for 20-80°C is isolated at particular temperature with following cooling up to 400°C at a rate not more than 40°C/h, final cooling is implemented on air.
EFFECT: obtaining increased mechanical properties of steel blanks.
