FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed flow metre has base supporting central bushing and furnished with precision bearings wherein hollow rod moves. Rod lower end accommodates coil pitched spring, the spring lower end being furnished with rod provided with sensitive ball-shaped element attached thereto with the help of bracket. Geared motor is attached, via bracket, to central bushing top face. Aforesaid geared motor has a crank fitted on motor shaft. Said crank has lengthwise slot wherein axle is locked parallel to motor shaft axis. Lever upper hinge is fitted on aforesaid axle, while lower hinge is fitted on the axle attached to aforesaid hollow rod. Rod linear travel is registered on contrast-colour scale made on transparent disk. Slit light source is arranged opposite the said disk. Note that the light source slit is arranged parallel to transparent disk dashes on its one side, while pulse counter is arranged on its other side to transmit data processing signal to control unit. Transparent disk is revolved by flexible link arranged on one-pass pulley running in the base bearing. Note that flexible link tension is adjusted by flexible link coupled, one side, with sensitive element end, and, on the other side, with one-pass pulley furnished with counterweight to equalise rod weight.

EFFECT: simpler design, higher accuracy of measurements.
