FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine. A prosthesis for partial replacement of vertebral body comprises upper connecting plate (5) to be attached to superior vertebral body (1), lower connecting plate (6) to be attached to inferior vertebral body (2) and insert (7) that connects upper and lower connecting plates (5, 6) with at least one joint (8) found. The insert is designed to be mounted in at least one partially replaced vertebral body (3) observed between superior and inferior vertebral bodies (1,2), and has rigid sided fixing flanges (9, ) to be attached on vertebral body. Cross-section section of insert (7) is rectangular or narrowed in dorsal direction.
EFFECT: invention provides relatively simple surgery technique to enable the support junction between the implant and a replaced vertebral body and can be applicable in case a replaced vertebral body is remained completely or mainly.
