FIELD: mechanical engineering and metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in fabrication of composite grinding wheel for face grinding of parts made from steel and alloys. Wheel working surface consists of alternating cutting ledges and recesses representing F-long radial cutouts. Recesses feature antiparallelogram shape in axial direction and in section perpendicular to circle rotational axis. Antiparallelogram larger base is located on wheel working face side and wheel mounting surface side, and filled with solid lubricant (SL). Cutting ledge outer side surfaces have radial F-long slots. Aforesaid slots represent, in axial direction and in section perpendicular to circle rotational axis, antiparallelogram with its larger base located on wheel working face side and wheel mounting surface side. Slot depth hn makes 0.5 W, where W is half the difference between wheel working surface OD and ID. Width of slot larger base hmax, on outer side surface, makes 50% of Lmin of radial cutout smaller base filled with soli lubricant.
EFFECT: higher durability and higher quality.
