FIELD: instrument making, railway equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to track devices incorporating with rolling stock and driven by magnetic or electric means. Proposed device comprises magnetic core with induction coil connected to measuring circuit. Rectangular "П"-like magnetic core is arranged parallel to railhead axis, and its length is selected subject to wheel diametre, AC generator frequency and rolling stock speed. Rectangular magnetic core width should exceed that of wheel flange. Aforesaid induction coil is connected, via magnetic field, with wheel flange and, via current resistor, with AC voltage generator of measuring circuit. Note here that analog-to-logical-signal converter is connected in parallel to aforesaid current resistor to send signal into axle counting system.
EFFECT: higher reliability and expanded performances.
