FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to production of mineral fibers and is related with recirculation of mineral fiber wastes. It comprises preparing burden and returning mineral fiber wastes that are preliminary minced, mixed with binder, dampened, compacted and mixed with starting burden in certain proportion of components. Now resultant mix is molten with mineral fiber melt formula preliminary calculated allowing for maximum amount of binder introduced along with mineral fiber wastes. The latter are separately processed by mincing, proportioning into equal-weight portions to be mixed with invariable calculated amount of binder. Total mix of wastes with introduced binder is dampened with water. Finally, dampened mix is compacted, passed trough granulator or rollers, thermally treated and jointed to main burden.
EFFECT: improved ecology, process higher efficiency and finished product output.
