FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: temperature measuring device which is an equivalent of a standard resistor has a circuit of series-connected resistors with known and different resistance-temperature relationships, placed locally on a common heat-conducting substrate, where one outer lead of the circuit is connected to the input of a current generator, the other outer lead is earthed, and the inside leads of the circuit are connected in parallel to inputs of a grouped analogue-to-digital converter, the output of which is connected to the input of a microprocessor, the output of which is the output of the device. The method of designing the said device involves using a circuit of n series connected resistors with known and different resistance-temperature relationships, which allows for determining their common measured temperature θ(t) with arbitrary operating current with respect to potential drops Ui/Uj across them and further - their current resistances from known temperature relationships φi(θ) and total resistance, equal to resistance of an equivalent standard resistor.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measuring temperature.
