FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology and can be used in calibration and verification of gas or fluid flow rate meters. The method consists in moving the pickup in the flow and outside it with simultaneous recording of its output signals in both positions. A multi-component flow rate pickup with a multi-component proper motion acceleration pickup arranged in the aforesaid pickup form point make a proposed pickup. The said pickups are placed in the working medium flow and reciprocated as the crow flies with the fixed orientation axes. Note that a number of the flow rate pickup output signal values are recorder for each of coordinates as well as the number of the proper motion acceleration pickup output signal values. Now the pickups are placed in the working medium with no flow and fixed therein to record the flow rate pickup output signal values. Proceeding from the above integrated results, the calibration factors are calculated.
EFFECT: higher validity and accuracy of graduation.
