FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: starting material, containing hydrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen in the ratio H2:CO2 ranging from 1.555 to 1.663 and ratio O2:H2 ranging from 0.175 to 0.173, is subjected to catalytic carbon dioxide conversion with pressure at the output of the catalyst bed of the shaft converter ranging from 0.05 to 0.5 gauge atmosphere. Converted gas is cooled with heat recycling, and cleaned from carbon dioxide through liquid absorption. The extracted carbon dioxide is returned to the conversion stage. Hydrogen is extracted from the cleaned mixture. The obtained carbon oxide contains less than 0.1 vol % methane.
EFFECT: invention allows for not using natural gas as starting material and cutting on volume of released hydrogen.
