FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of the physical and chemical state of materials when studying the mechanism of action of external factors and can be used for controlling quality of materials when designing new materials, including based on nanotechnology. The method is based on analysis of the supramolecular structure of material before and after external action. During analysis of the supramolecular structure of material, its morphologic and textural parametres are measured, where the said parametres are average length of cracks and/or domain boundaries, surface area of the object occupied by cracks, mean angle of deviation of cracks from the direction to the centre of convergence of cracks, fractal dimension of the supramolecular structure. Change of uniformity of distribution of measured parametres indicates unstable state of the structure of the material, while retention of uniformity of distribution of parametres indicates stable state of the structure of the material. A test sample is used to determine the trend of processes taking place during restructuring. Morphologic and textural parametres of the supramolecular structure of the test sample are measured and compared with those of the analysed material before and after action, and ordering or disordering of the structure is determined.
EFFECT: provision for high accuracy of determining reaction of material to external action, increased reliability of obtained information and possibility of its quantitative evaluation.
