SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food mixers. The drum mixer contains a drum with screw surfaces. The drum is multisectional, multithread, screw and conic. The drum is assembled of sections manufactured from equilateral and isosceles triangles connected sequentially, their lateral sides are equal to each other, and the bases of the isosceles triangles are bigger than the length of their lateral sides. The sections are connected with each other with free sides. The number of the equilateral and isosceles triangles in the section is equal to six at least and is not restricted upwards forming three, four, five, etc. broken screw lines of the reference direction along the perimetre of the drum in increments changing from charging to discharging and three, four, five, etc. broken screw grooves of the reference direction inside the drum accordingly in increments changing and increasing from charging and discharging as well as three, four, five, etc. broken screw lines of the opposite direction in increments changing from charging to discharging and three, four, five, etc. broken screw grooves of the opposite direction accordingly inside the drum in increments changing and increasing from charging and discharging.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve food mixing quality.
